God wanted me to experience life around varied cultures, and I may not have had that much exposure had I lived someplace like Tel Aviv. Considering it’s been western civilization in the areas where I’ve lived during the past few decades, it is to make a point that parts of its lifestyle will be embraced for all eternity.
There is also the understanding that the “capital” or governing center of the King’s monarchy may be outside of the West Bank. I think it may have to do with something compelling about the region where God wants it.
