Perhaps, you are a better person by walking with God, and as long as you don’t indulge in crooked behaviour, then that’s great. Accepting Jesus doesn’t guarantee a sin-free life, as even born-again Christians can find themselves doing the wrong things, as there are roughly 80,000 prisoners in England and Wales.
Maybe you felt Jesus? How do you know that? It might actually be God, giving you a sign that “he” is with you? I also felt it back in 1993, yet “he” eventually told me the truth. So, accepting Jesus was a red herring for you, and the same applies to Muslims who confided in Allah, for “his” mercy.
God can communicate with anyone from Afghanistan to Zaire, so “he” knows how to make people feel connected to something, one way or another.
